The Band Fans would like to welcome Mr. David Trewitt as our new head band director! Mr. Trewitt comes to us from HEB's Trinity High School where he has been an assistant director. He comes to us with lots of marching and percussion experience and we are confident he will bring a new level of excitement to the Warrior Band. He is in the process of finding a new assistant director as Mr. May has also resigned to take a position in Katy. Mr. Trewitt is excited to be here and to start planning for the upcoming marching season. We hope you will all join us in giving Mr. Trewitt a warm, Warrior Band welcome.
We know that these changes will be difficult for the students, but with the continued support of the parents and Band Fans, we know that the band will continue on the road to success.
Uniform Check Out - HELP WANTED
If you are interested in being on the committee for the Uniform Check Out (UCO) Committee, please e-mail Lisa Gordon at lisa.gordon@lmco.com with all of your contact information, email/cell phone/comments, etc..
This year we want to have leaders over each area of items/section. We will have a meeting or two over the summer to make sure all is in line and ready to run smooth and quickly.
Currently, the new tentative date is for Uniform Check Out is Saturday, August 8th. (This is a change from the earlier date of August 1.)

Are you a former band member or parent of a former band member? Would you like to be kept informed of fun events and get togethers for the band, but not the day-to-day minutiae?
