Ongoing Fundraising Efforts
All of the following fundraising opportunities help support your son and/or daughter's band activities. We appreciate any and all support you can solicit for the band. WBF is open to any and all donations you might wish to give... or solicit from any company you know of. Sponsors are most welcome. In fact, we need sponsors who might wish to support the band. This organization is responsible for about two hundred students. The district has cut funding from the fine arts program yearly. As a result, the WBFBC tries to help make up these losses by providing funds for new equipment, instruments, banquets, solo/ensemble and All-Region, spring trip, clinicians, marching music, a portion of Colorguard uniforms or other needs, drum major and colorguard officer camps for each new year, scholarships, and so much more!!

iGive - You can get things you purchase everyday online at www.igive.com and the band will receive a percentage of each sale. Just filter by ―Texas‖, search ―band‖ and select ―South Grand Prairie HS Warrior Band.‖Here is a link to the searching feature of igive. If you install their toolbar and use their search window, you will get TEMPORARY_BODY_TAG.01 per search. Alternately, you can go to this page to start your search. See the "qualified search" to understand what does or does not qualify. Right now they have Double Donation Days through January 31.
Shutterfly - At Shutterfly.com family and friends can purchase pictures, mugs, scrapbooks, etc. of their favorite band member and the Warriors will receive a percentage of each sale.
Magazine Sales - The magazine fundraiser allows you to order new magazines or renew old magazine subscriptions. You can invite family and friends to order as well. The band receives a percentage of each sale. Our group name is South Grand Prairie H.S. Warrior Band. www.magfundraising.com/
Ink/Cell Phone Recycling - We are continuing our recycling program this year. Please continue to collect used cell phones and ink cartridges throughout the year and send them to the band hall with your student. Boxes are in the band hall for your donation. If you have the Kroger card, it must be renewed annually. Please visit www.krogerneighbortoneighbor.com, then type Grand Prairie, Texas. Click on the band's name and print the form with the barcode. Take the form to Kroger and let the cashier scan it. You are now current for another year!
Tom Thumb Cards: The below form can be used to link your reward card to the BandFans. Our charity organization # is 11818. Register the number 11818 to your card and the band will get a percentage of the money you spend at the store. Please fill out the form and return to the Tom Thumb Courtesy Booth.
Albertsons Cards: We have community cards available to be used at all Albertsons. When checking out scan this card and the band will receive a portion of what you spend. These programs will not cost you a penny and you will still get any savings you would normally receive.
